Terms of Service

VentrBox is a marketplace where SaaS companies list anonymised datasets and AI teams find and request them.

Live today: accounts, dataset listings with seller attestations, shortlists, messaging with sellers (Pro), licence proposals and private delivery of files in a Deal Room.

Planned, not live: payment for licences through VentrBox, escrow, seller payouts, API access and live data feeds. We will not charge for planned features.

• You must be 18 or over and acting for a business.
• Give accurate details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the Marketplace Rules.

Free: browse listings, shortlist datasets and list your own datasets.

VentrBox Pro: £199 per month or £1,990 per year, including any applicable VAT, billed in advance. Pro is sold and billed by Stripe as merchant of record through Stripe Managed Payments; Stripe calculates and collects any tax due. Pro adds messaging with sellers and sending licence proposals.

Your subscription renews at the end of each month or year, matching the plan you chose, until you cancel. The price shown is the price you pay.

Cancel any time from the Billing page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part periods. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

• Sellers confirm they have the right to license each dataset and that it is anonymised before listing.
• Licence terms are agreed between buyer and seller. We are not a party to the licence unless we say so in writing.
• We review listings but do not guarantee the accuracy, quality or lawfulness of any dataset.

• No attempt to re-identify individuals in any dataset.
• No scraping, reverse engineering or disruption of the service.
• No unlawful, misleading or infringing content.

The service is provided as is. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or data, or indirect loss.

We may update these terms and will tell account holders of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
